At ND we ensure our students develop values, responsibilities, skills and work ethic that are important for success in school, sports and life. We are a unique prairie location with a deep sense of tradition, and a supportive family environment, which makes an ideal home for our staff and students. The College is located in the prairie village of Wilcox, Saskatchewan; thirty minutes south of the capital city of Regina.

    Founded in 1920 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ is a Canadian independent co-educational boarding school for students in grades 9 to 12, 85% of Notre Dame's 280 students are boarders and currently 86% of those boarders are Canadian.     Roles Responsibilities
    The Admission Officer’s primary responsibilities will be to...
    • To develop and implement the school’s boarding student recruitment strategy and ensure it aligns with the school’s overall mission and vision.
    • Research new markets and provide plans and business cases in support of the development of these markets. Liaise with internal stakeholders – Hockey Operations, Alumni Relations, Fundraising, and Marketing & Communications, as well as external partners – CAIS, in-country agents and other partners both domestic and international.
    • Develop and cultivate a network of preferred educational agents. Identify new agent partners. Negotiate agent agreements. Review on an annual basis agent performance. Co-ordinate quarterly digital agent meetings with one annual in-person session. Provide agents with up-to-date information and materials as required. 
    • Identify, meet, recruit, interview and make recommendations on the admissibility of prospective students. This includes travelling internationally and domestically; anticipating between 45-75 days of travel per year with the heaviest concentration of travel will be in the months of September to November and January to March.
    • Follow-up with new students and families to ensure a smooth transition to the school by working directly with school directors and orientation leaders.
    • Prepare and distribute profiles of all incoming boarding students to the school Academic, Boarding Life and Advancement teams.
    • Liaise and communicate regarding retention and tracking purposes and ensure proper direction and communication to families pertaining to retention issues.
     
    Qualifications
    The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications.
    • Post-secondary education required.
    • A minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience. Major account sales experience would be a further asset as would experience working in an admissions function in an independent or private school.
    • International market experience or experience working with clients from diverse countries, cultures and backgrounds.
    • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
    • Multi-lingual an asset but not essential. The roles primary language is English with secondary languages including French, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese or Korean desirable. 
    • Solid working knowledge of MS Office suite (including Outlook). Knowledge and experience of Blackbaud’s education suite of products a definite plus. Knowledge and experience working with MailChimp would also be a benefit
    • Multi-tasking, great attention to detail and highly organized
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

    The 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ is seeking to expand its ESL program. As a result, we are looking to add an additional EAL teacher. The role involves programming during the regular school year Sept.-June as well as an opportunity for additional employment to lead summer ESL programming.
     
    Responsibilities
    • Providing ESL support during the school year September through June
    • Involvement in the new ESL summer programming
    • Involvement in extra-curricular programming as per Notre Dame’s expectations
     
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Education Degree
    • Qualified to teach grades 9-12.

    The 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ is seeking a dedicated hockey coach for the Female U18AAA hockey team. The Hounds play in the Saskatchewan Female U18AAA league.  The league is highly competitive and consistently earns a berth in the Esso Cup National Championship.  Each year, players from the league graduate to play NCAA Division 1, U Sports, and ACHA hockey. This role aims to help develop student-athletes in our prestigious Notre Dame Hounds Hockey Program. Reporting to the Director of Hockey, this role requires evenings, weekends, and travel during the season.
    Responsibilities
    • Coach and assist in practices, games, showcases, camps, and skills sessions
    • Support team and player development through coaching, video analysis, and workouts
    • Contribute to scouting, recruiting, and retention efforts
    • Maintain strong communication with players, parents, and staff
    • Represent Notre Dame at events and in media when required
    Qualifications
    • Coaching experience (HP1 required)
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
    • Clean Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
    • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)

    The individual in this position, as part of the College Central Services Office team (CSO) will contribute to all aspects of building maintenance of the entire College, campus and staff homes. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance work, service requests, building inspections and preventative maintenance. You will be required to perform building maintenance tasks in one or more fields including carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, plumbing, and air conditioning (HVAC).
    Responsibilities
    • Conducting all College maintenance work and service requests assigned through the work order system.
    •  Performing building inspections of assigned buildings on a regular basis to determine need for repair and maintenance activities.
    • Installing, servicing, replacing and repairing a range of items around the College, Campus and Staff Housing to meet industry standards.
    • Performing routine preventative and predictive maintenance on buildings, systems and equipment.
    • Maintains vehicle, workshop, utility rooms, and mechanical rooms to ensure rooms are kept clean, orderly and safe from potential hazard
    Qualifications
    • High school Diploma or equivalent
    • Priority will be given to Applicants that possess a 5th Class Power Engineering certificate or a Fireman Boiler Operator’s certificate 
    • Experience in all aspects of general maintenance and repairs  
          •  Must be able to lift 50lbs or more on occasion
    • Uphold Notre Dame College and Occupational Health & Safety policies
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean Criminal Record Check
    • Ability to proficiently operate a computer including Windows-based and Microsoft Office Suite software.
    • Strong diagnostic skills
    • Have a basic understanding of how to maintain and perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical & mechanical issues.
    • Advanced skill in the safe use of tools and equipment.
