The students and staff at Notre Dame are excited to host your team at the 2023 Western Canadian Independent Schools' Volleyball Championship (WCISVC). We hope you enjoy the tournament, our hospitality on our small-town prairie campus and the excellent competition with your fellow athletes. 

91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ the Event:
The tournament, known as “The Westerns”, was established in 1972 by Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School, and brings together female athletes from independent schools across the western provinces. The Westerns were developed on the basis that they give athletes the opportunity to: 
  • Enjoy the competition while adhering to the rules of volleyball and the spirit of sportsmanship.
  • Share a cultural exchange with volleyball players from our four western provinces.
  • Develop the fellowship and the friendship that evolves in a situation where athletes live together and share experience outside those of volleyball.
  • Play volleyball consistent with their level of development.
The impact of the WCISVC has impacted many players over the years, and in 2023, 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ is proud to welcome over 100 student athletes, coaches and parents to campus for exciting competition, sportsmanship and creating lasting memories.

91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ is a private, independent, co-educational boarding high school located in Wilcox, Saskatchwan. Our 103-year old school provides an exceptional educational and boarding experience with a balance of strong academic, athletic and spiritual growth in a safe and caring prairie environment. Our students and sports teams are known around the world as the Notre Dame Hounds!

Head over to to purchase 50/50 tickets in support of Female volleyball at Notre Dame.

Tickets are on sale from 12 noon on October 11th through to 11:45am on October 14th. The draw (via random generator) will be made at 12 noon on October 14th.

*Note: You must be IN Saskatchewan at the time of purchase but are not required to live in the province to win or be in attendance when the draw is made on Oct. 14th at 12 noon Saskatchewan time.
